Enthusiastic Do Kraja

Edward O's pop blog Enthusiastic but Mediocre has been running the Croatian pop-rock chart past its resident panel, which came out in favour of Colonia's Do kraja as 'one of the best Eurodance songs I’ve heard since whatever the last completely brilliant Colonia single was'.

Wonder what they'd have made of the semi-schlager - or semi-folk - zabavna chart?

Hey Catherine, I was wondering if you would know the answer to this question. I remember a while ago you reported how Zorica Andrijašević had singed a deal with a Serbian record company or some such, and today I was reading on her current label's site that she was making an appearence at the Grand festival this year in Beograd (http://www.hitrecords.hr/novosti.php#249)
Well my Croatian is a little rusty but it also said something about Zorica being the second Croatian artist to appear at the festival. This got me a little interested, would you happen to know who the first one was and is he/she appearing this year as well? Thanks a lot, keep uo the great work!

Hi Steven!

It says Zorica's the second Croatian artist to sign a contract with Grand (that's the Serbian record label you're talking about), which also organises Grand festival in Belgrade.

The first one was Siniša Vuco - you might have heard his duet Volim narodno with Mitar Mirić.

I couldn't say for certain whether she's the second Croatian artist to appear on Grand festival, but if that features only singers who are signed to Grand, then the chances are she is.

Hi! We would really like that you translate our last post (not each sentence but the main point) because our English is not so grammatically correct! We would really appreciate it...
