Gotovina Watch 2

The Times is reporting that Gotovina's fake passport had been issued in the name of 'Kristian Horvat', or 'Christian Croat'.

Index has much more coverage here, along with a rundown of Gotovina sightings, none of which, strangely enough, involve the Canary Islands.

And Goran IvaniĊĦević may not care to be reminded of this.

I still can't over the fact that they snagged him in Tenerife. It's literally the last place I would've looked for him.

I've heard reports that Croats were throwing rocks and debris at parliament today. Things are going to get interesting.

A friend of mine heard the Tenerife part and commented it was 'the package holiday version of the Nazi war criminals'.

Unless that's where you get a cheap flight to Argentina these days......?

Nah probably he was looking up his old girlfriend, but he was in pretty regular touch also with his wife, that is how he was caught, by traceing her phone calls.
Cheap flights to Argentina might go from the Canaries for all I know, but I would think that the big planes would leave from Madrid.
